UI CPH CEPH Accreditation

The Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) is an independent agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education to accredit schools of public health, and public health programs outside schools of public health.

UI CPH was first accredited by CEPH in 2000, and was re-accredited March 3, 2026, for a seven-year term which extends accreditation until July 1, 2033.

“Re-accreditation highlights the strength of our college community,” said Edith Parker, dean of the College of Public Health. “I’m deeply grateful to our faculty, staff, students, alumni, and community partners whose dedication makes this work possible.”
