ISIB alumna Elaina McGovern continues her academic path in biostatistics
Elaina McGovern took part in the 2023 Iowa Summer Institute in Biostatistics (ISIB). She'll soon obtain a master’s degree in mathematics with a statistics concentration at Boise State then head to the University of South Carolina to pursue a PhD in biostatistics. CPH faculty selected for National Academy of Medicine Emerging Leaders Forum

Sharma comments on supplemental Medicaid payments for Indiana nursing homes
Hari Sharma, assistant professor of health management and policy, led a study that that analyzed cost reports for Indiana's nursing homes from 2009 to 2017 in an effort to gauge the impact of supplemental Medicaid payments. Romitti named 2025 UI Distinguished Chair
Paul Romitti, professor of epidemiology in the College of Public Health, has been named one of two recipients of the 2025 University of Iowa Distinguished Chair. The UI Distinguished Chair, one of the most prestigious honors granted to faculty members at Iowa, is given to those who are known nationally and globally for their scholarly work and who have made significant contributions to the university, state of Iowa, and beyond.
