What are you most looking forward to now that you have been elected as your cohort’s First-Year Representative on the ESA Board?
“As the newly elected First Year Representative on the ESA Board, I am excited to learn about the opportunities available for all first-year students and advocating for the workshops, networking events and mentorship programs that will help my fellow students succeed. Additionally, I want to make sure that the concerns of all first-year students are heard and addressed in an inclusive environment.”
Describe a highlight from your semester thus far.
“Getting the chance to connect and help my residents as a Burge Resident Assistant in their first semester journey of college.”

If you didn’t have to worry about money and couldn’t pursue Epidemiology, what would your dream career be?
“Owning a pastries business.”
Describe a piece of your work or an accomplishment that you are most proud of:
“Getting the opportunity to volunteer at Zaatari Refugee Camp in Jordan.”

What is one self-care tip/trick that has helped you while in school?
“Journal, it doesn’t have to be every day, just journal.”
If you had to give a recommendation for one food item at a local restaurant, what would it be?
“Seasonal (March) shrimp burrito at Pancheros.”

“I was going to tell a sodium joke, then I thought, ‘Na.'”
