- Bionic Bus – For qualifying persons with disabilities, CAMBUS provides a complimentary demand-response service called the Bionic Bus. The services are free and available to the general public.

- Scheduling: If you’d like to reserve this space, please do so in advance using Outlook (RES-CPHB-S042). For more details on how to schedule shared space within CPHB – please refer to the shared space scheduling instructions.
- Supplies: This room is equipped with a Medela Symphony breast pump (personal tubing for this pump can be found via online retailers).

- Service Animals – Service animals and certified therapy animals (as approved by the appropriate Vice President) are permitted.
- The Americans with Disabilities Act covers service animals and no documentation is needed to bring a service animal into a classroom. However, an instructor may ask if the animal is a service animal and what specific tasks it performs for the student.

- Emotional support animals are not allowed in university classrooms.

- Emergency Stair Chair – located on the third floor of CPHB, inside the central fire staircase
- Evacuation chairs can be an important tool to provide mobility impaired individuals with a safe way to evacuate the building in case of an emergency.
- We encourage all to review the produce overview, user guide and features of our chair.
- If you are interested in a demonstration on how to use the chair or wish to practice using the chair so you could help in case of an emergency, please contact CPH-Facilities@uiowa.edu and we’ll make the necessary arrangements.
- Sharp Container Locations – The FDA recommends that used needles and other sharps be immediately placed in appropriate disposal containers. The first-floor restrooms in the CPHB are equipped with disposal containers.
