The following resources and organizations provide a variety of opportunities in public health continuing education and workforce development. Accessibility to some resources may be limited to organization members or current university staff.
CDC TRAIN
TRAIN is the nation’s most comprehensive learning resource for professionals who protect and improve the public’s health. Training opportunities include asynchronous courses, full training plans, and live events. CE credit may be available.
Institute for Public Health Practice, Research & Policy
IPHPRP offers a number of Workforce Development and Training opportunities through the UI College of Public Health. Programs include health equity training, data communication, tabletop exercises, and more.
American Public Health Association
APHA offers an integrated continuing education program for public health professionals. Their web portal offers links to APHA professional development offerings, as well as opportunities from community partners.
