The College of Public Health Faculty Research Award recognizes faculty members who have made significant contributions to the advancement of the field and to a larger body of scholarly inquiry through their research. One award is given each year. The awardee can range from a junior to senior faculty member, and the nomination can be for a specific piece of innovative work or for contributions made over a longer time period.
The College of Public Health Faculty Service Award recognizes faculty members who have provided extraordinary service to the college, department and/or university as well as professional service. One award is given each year. The awardee can range from a junior to senior faculty member, and the nomination can be for a specific service project or for a commitment to service over a longer time period.
The College of Public Health Faculty Teaching Award recognizes faculty members who have directly enhanced and inspired student learning and professional development through their exceptional teaching and mentoring. Two awards are given each year. The first recognizes “up-and-coming” faculty members who have received their terminal degree during the past 10 years. The other recognizes faculty members who received their terminal degree more than 10 years ago.
The College of Public Health Faculty Mentor Award recognizes faculty members who have provided outstanding mentorship to faculty or trainees (students, including postdocs) within CPH. This award is to be given on odd years.
