2018 MRASH Continuing Education Credits

General:

The University of Iowa awards 1.3 General Education Units (13 contact hours) for full-time attendance. Tuesday, November 27thImmigrant Farm Workers Health and Safety attendance is approved for .3 General CEUs (3 contact hours). Wednesday, November 28th conference programming is approved for .55 General CEUs (5.5 contact hours). Thursday, November 29th conference attendance is approved for .3 General CEUs (3 contact hours) and Thursday, Anhydrous Ammonia Safety Workshop is approved for .15 General CEUs (1.5 contact hours).

Nursing:

Nurse CEUs: The University of Iowa College of Nursing is an Iowa Board of Nursing Approved Provider Number 1. Case Management: Care of Work-Related Injuries is approved for a maximum of 3.0 contact hours on November 27, 5.25 contact hours on November 28, and 4.5 contact hours on November 29, for a combined maximum of 12.75 hours.

Social Work:

On October 5, 2005, the Iowa Board of Social Work Examiners changed the rules of social work CEUs. The Board no longer approves continuing education sponsors, and now directs its licenses to review the continuing education criteria established in the rules. Social work CEUs will be offered, but it is up to the participant to determine if this program is deemed appropriate for your profession. If you have questions, please contact the Iowa Board of Social Work Examiners.

CHES:

This program qualifies for Category II CHEC credits.
