What are your interests and hobbies outside of the Department of Epidemiology?
“Giving my dogs (and I guess the cats) the best life, printmaking, reading, thrifting (but not at goodwill…they have gotten so expensive)”

What is an important cause to you right now?
“Sensible Drug Policy — The war on drugs is a war on people…we need a better approach”
Describe a piece of your work or an accomplishment that you are most proud of:
“The EMPOWER Project. Since 2019, I have been learning from the most amazing women and am proud and thankful we continue our work together.”
What is your favorite part of your week?
“Saturday morning”
What’s one misconception about your field that you wish more people understood?
“Epidemiologists do more than stare at computers and crunch numbers…”
If you didn’t have to worry about money and couldn’t pursue Epidemiology, what would your dream career be?
“I would own a bed and breakfast somewhere in Central or South America that has unlimited coffee, cakes, and art supplies.”

- I worked at a dude ranch every summer in college in Colorado
- After college, I worked at a skydiving place on weekends
