In the Department of Health Management and Policy, student affairs plays a vital role in guiding Master of Health Administration (MHA) students. Dr. Gwendolyn Archibald, Director of Student Services and Academic Program Support, is dedicated to supporting students both academically and personally.

Dr. Archibald’s responsibilities include graduate program coordination, advising, admissions, and recruitment, as well as connecting students with campus resources. She serves as the primary contact for student leaders, facilitating initiatives that align with departmental goals.

With her expertise in higher education, Dr. Archibald provides essential guidance to students. “My purpose is to help effect positive change in an industry that impacts us all by recruiting and supporting outstanding future healthcare leaders” she says, highlighting her commitment to ethical and responsible career preparation.

The MHA program benefits from a strong alumni network of over 1,000 members who actively mentor current students. “Our alumni community provides extensive support, helping students achieve success,” she notes.

Witnessing her students grow in their career brings her immense joy. “Helping graduate students launch successful careers gives me deep satisfaction,” she shares.
