Is there a public health-themed film that you’d like to see on the big screen? It could be a new, eye-opening documentary or a gripping drama from the past. Share your suggestions!

As part of the College of Public Health’s 25th anniversary, we are exploring a community collaboration built around a film that highlights an important public health issue and creates opportunities for conversation and connection.

Send film title ideas to CPH Communications (cph-communications@uiowa.edu) by Friday, June 21, 2024.

What We’re Looking For

  • All genres are welcome — documentary, blockbuster, independent, recent or older, etc. — but the film should address a public health theme or topic.
  • The film should appeal to a wide audience.
  • The content, run time, and rating will be considered during selection. Resources for and availability of programming (i.e., speakers, panelists, activities) around the film will also be considered.
  • The final selection will be made by the CPH Office of Communications & External Relations in consultation with collegiate and student leadership.
