University of Iowa College of Public Health ranked No. 17 in the nation

The University of Iowa College of Public Health is the No. 17 school/program of public health in the nation, according to the U.S. News & World Report Best Graduate Schools rankings for 2023-2024. Among publicly supported schools and programs, the college ranks No. 9.
The overall public health rankings assessed 206 public health schools and programs accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health.

In its Best Biostatistics Programs 2022 rankings, U.S. News identified the University of Iowa program as No. 20.
U.S. News announced on April 19 that this year’s graduate schools rankings will be released in two parts. The first includes academic reputation rankings for graduate and/or doctoral programs in business, chemistry, computer science, earth science, education, engineering, health care management, mathematics, nursing, physician assistant, physics, public affairs, public health, rehabilitation counseling, and veterinary medicine. The second, which will include rankings in law and medical schools, will be released later.
