The University of Iowa College of Public Health Prevention Research Center for Rural Health (PRC-RH) and the Midwestern Public Health Training Center (MPHTC) invite you to be a part of the latest installment in the Conversations on Health Equity Research and Practice Webinar Series.
On Feb. 11, 2025, from 1 to 2 p.m. CT, the next conversation will be with Shannon Watkins, an assistant professor at the University of Iowa Department of Community and Behavioral Health. In her presentation, Dr. Watkins will describe research approaches to engaging young adults as research collaborators and discuss how to apply a growth mindset to challenges when doing community-engaged research.
This series is for practitioners, researchers, and students who are interested in advancing their research and practice for health equity and social justice. Conversations begin with a presentation of a specific project, and then a Q &A session about the topic of the presentation.
